Editorial Statute
1. Scientific scope
Ius Dictum is a legal journal dedicated to the publication of studies regarding the multiple
ways and instances of concretization of Law, notably the subjects traditionally considered
as pertaining to the general theory of procedure, the general theory of adjudication and the philosophy of Law.
2. Purposes
Ius Dictum pursues the general aim of publishing and sharing legal studies of high
technical quality, precision and innovation. In particular, Ius Dictum aims at widening the
frontiers surrounding the exchange of knowledge concerning the core subject matters of the review; it also intends on raising the interest of legal scholars and practitioners towards the theoretical and practical matters regarding the concretization of Law; lastly, the review aims at promoting the debate between legal scholars and practitioners coming
from different legal systems and from diverse fields of expertise.
3. Composition
Ius Dictum is composed by a Board of Directors, a Scientific Board and an Editorial Board, on each falling the following responsibilities:
Board of Directors:(i) to represent and promote the journal; (ii) to define the editorial
policy of the journal; (iii) to coordinate the activity of the Editorial Board; (iv) to ensure
the compliance with the Publishing Rules; (v) to decide on the nomination and
replacement of members of the Editorial Board; (vi) to authorize the issuing of the journal
after final revision.
Scientific Board: (i) to execute the ordinary management and the editorial production of
the journal, under coordination of the Board of Directors; (ii) to proceed to a preliminary
analysis and selection of the studies submitted for publication; (iii) to mediate the
communications between the authors and the referees, during the double-blind peer
review process.
Editorial Board: (i) to execute the ordinary management and the editorial production of

4. Issues
The journal is published online and it is accessible www.iusdictum.com. The Board of
Directors may decide to publish print editions, to be sold or offered for purposes of
promotion of the journal. The number of pages of each issue is variable.
5. Periodicity
The review Ius Dictum is published three times a year, in January, May and September. If
the conditions needed for the publication are not met, the Board of Directors may decide
not to publish the journal for a certain period of time.
